Anyhow I procrastinated for a long spell, and finally upgraded from PT9, to 2020.3.
Interesting finding. Could not update the 003 console driver 11.1.5 on High Sierra, Thought I try since I just freshly installed High Sierra.

Formatted and did a clean install of Sierra, and as recommended I installed PT 2019.10 without a hitch. * ALL GOOD *

I then accidentally updated PT in the background and now I have 2020.3 on Sierra.

I loaded the demo and everything is working fine as far as I can tell with the console, just thought I pass that info on.

Although I haven't tried recording yet, will give that a try Weds.

So how is it going with PT 2020x and Sierra.


I have a cheese grater on 1Os 0.12.6 running PT 2019.12 and want to upgrade to PT 2020.5.

Just try it, can always downgrade if it doesn't work for you. Bear in mind 2020.x is not supported on Sierra, random errors may appear.
