Default Trying to get a solid line over all tracks

Hello everyone. I'm new to Pro Tools so please bare with me. I normally use Adobe Audition. In there I can click anywhere on a track and it will display a red line over all tracks. The line will stay there so I can move over any tracks to line up anything that may be out of sync. I can't find this option in Pro Tools. Can anyone assist? I can provide a picture if needed.

I'm not familiar with this function.

But in Protools you can use the Spot or Grid functions to align tracks to any point that you want.

I think pretty much I'm trying to get the time selection line to show over all tracks and stay there. Then I can line up whatever needs moved.

You can do this by first creating a marker, then CTRL+click or WIN+click the clips you want to move.

Press Enter (far right of your keyboard) at the desired spot in the timeline.
That creates a memory location/marker, make sure you select "marker" type.

Then hold WIN or CTRL down while clicking the clip(s).

(WIN = the Windows logo button, CTRL if you're on Mac.)

Open your Pro Tools Reference Guide and look at page 811 "Timebase Rulers and Conductor Rulers".
