Question Thunderbolt: blackmagic Intensity shuttle OR Extreme?

ASSUMING NEW MAC PROS COME OUT JUNE 2012....

and I buy an HDX-2 rig..... (and wanna leave the [hopefully] 3rd PCI slot open for maybe a 3rd HDX card or 2nd monitor card there in the future......

then

what would be the better Thunderbolt video output solution? for getting various frame rates of various Quicktime movies out HDMI for when I'm working on feature films......

do I get a Blackmagic Intensity shuttle OR Blackmagic Intensity Extreme?

they are both less than $300.

they both SEEM to be approved by Avid.

After you spend $18k, I hope buying both for $512 won't set you back too much

How sure are you that the new Mac Pros will HAVE PCI slots??

On 2nd thought.... maybe I should have posted this question in " Pro Tools 10 on Mac OS X" ?

as it is likely that very few HDX users have actually used a Thunderbolt computer as an HDX rig .....

Moderator - could you possibly move this thread elsewhere? thanks

It is just that almost no HDX users are on a computer that has thunderbolt.
