Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt and PT?

Hi guys!

Does anyone know if the Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt will work with PT (this is for a Mac Mini running Video Satellite LE, hence Thunderbolt being an option)? I'm hoping there would magically appear a "Video Out Thunderbolt" option when connected, but that might be very wishful thinking. Has anyone tried it?

I'm running my Video Satellite LE on a 2011 MacMini with PT LE 8.05.
Does PT 8 even know what Thunderbolt is?

Thanks. But can I be sure that this will work with PT 8 as well? I used PT8 with an Intensity Pro (PCIe), that worked fine.

Just not sure, if PT8 can access Thunderbolt. (I'm not that much of an IT guy...)

Re-hashing this thread, just a question. Thunderbolt would capture the video only correct, and audio would come in via the analog audio in? I don't have much experience with Thunderbolt yet, but I'm reading up on it. It isn't yet clear to me if audio comes along for the ride.

so, i guess you can use it to view the quicktime, but not as an extened monitor/desktop?
