So this looks like Wifi and the network is 192.168.1.x (1-254) Is this your internet router?

Do you have any other router or network adapters?

Correct. 192.168.1.46. DNS 255.255.255.0
I have 2 routers. I changed the cable to my main router so the number changed.
The S1 is showing: 192.168.100.46

OK, great.....so that second router is 192.168.100.x is connected to the S1....it also needs to be connected to the Mac through an ethernet port. Can you check to see if thats the case.

Correct. The S1 via cable to the router. The router cable to the Mac. Still not showing up in the Surfaces L side panel however.

Can you post a pic of that adapters settings from the mac like the wifi one

Should the S1 actually be 192.168.100.300?

This is not the other router...this is the same as the Wifi Router. You need to plug this into the router the S1 is plugged into not the Internet one.

Thats not a valid address. The S1 will get its address automatically (just like the Macs wifi and ethernet adapters)

The S1 is plugged into the same router as the Mac. I have it set at 192.168.1.46. Subnet is 255.255.255.0.

The Router 192.168.1.1. Should this be the setting?
