AIR Vacuum Pro and PT 11
Some good news for anyone using AIR Vacuum Pro (and if this has mentioned here before, apologies for the duplication). Vacuum Pro can be installed as a 64bit VST. I tried to host it on an intrument track using Blue Cat Audio's new MB Mixer, but for some reason, that caused PT to just shut down. However, I am able to use it just fine inside Reaper in PT 11. I set up an instrument track, installed Reaper on it, and then called up the VST version of Vacuum Pro on an instrument track inside Reaper and it worked just fine! And the nice thing is, you can have both the VST 64 bit AND the RTAS version installed at the same time. So, until AIR comes out with their AAX-64 upgrades, its at least possible to do it this way. I am assuming that Loom would work the same way? Don't have that one, so not sure.
I can't find it, but I thought I vaguely remember seeing VST versions of the PTIEP instruments? Or am I dreaming? If so, then this would work for those as well for now. But I suspect I'm not remembering correctly.
