No Xpand2 patches after PT 10 update

I just installed Pro Tools 10.2 on a Win 7 Dell PC and now Xpand2 cannot find it's patches. In Xpand 2, I went to Preset>Setting Prefs>Set Root Settings Folder and went to get the XPand2.big file. It’s located in my Program Files (x86)>Digidesign>Pro Tools Creative Collection>Xpand2. After selecting this I still could not get any patches in Xpand2. I see the patches in the ‘factory default’ area under Preset… but they do not play and I cannot see any patches in part window. Any ideas on a fix?

Exactly the same issue I'm having on a fresh install. Last time I did this I was able to get it to show me a dialog where I could pick the .big file but this time out I haven't been able to recreate that success...

OK finally figured it out.

C:\Users\(yourusername)\AppData\Roaming\Avid\Pro Tools

Delete the files from this folder.
Relaunch Pro Tools.
Insert XPand2 and you'll be prompted to find the Xpand2.big file that is in (by default):

C:\Program Files (x86)\Avid\Avid Virtual Instruments\XPand2
-OR-
C:\Program Files\Avid\Avid Virtual Instruments\XPand2

The first is for x86_64 (64-bit) versions of Windows, the second is for x86 (32-bit) Windows.

Nope... this doesn't work.

I've tried EVERYTHING to get Xpand to work. Avid, surely you can give us a simple way to get Xpand to be redirected to where the correct file is?

Well now that AIR has been sold off I wonder if they'll do anything at all to help. No longer their "product".
