Default Main Counter Question

Last night I was recording and I had 2 measures of Pre-roll engaged. After arming the track and hitting the play button, I noticed the system would delay a few seconds before it began to count down the pre roll and begin recording. Up in the counter I notice that there are two icons on the bottom right that are both red. In watching video tutorials, when the Pre Roll is engaged, I see those icons are green. Could the fact they are red mean I've got a setting engaged somewhere that is causing this delay before the system starts up to count down and record? Thank you
