Pre/Post Roll Issue, Playback cursor won\'t remain still
Hey. I don't think i've disabled any feature for this to happen. The playback cursor won't remain Still!!! (very annoying)
I activate the Pre/Post roll function and hit record, and what it does is that the playback cursor resets itself to where the Pre Roll flag was. It still starts recording where it was suppossed to, but if you have to do another take, you have to set up the cursor again to where you needed it. It just resets itself, if you don't re-set it to where you originally need it, it just keeps on going backwards following the Pre-roll flag position. Very odd I'm fairly new to Pro Tools so I'm still guessing it's some function, or feature that I haven't found yet that must be disabled. (though I checked everywhere I could think of) I checked the DUC everywhere for a similar issue and just couldn't find any, so if anyone knows of any existing post, please paste the link so I can re-direct to it. I just find it hard to believe that i'd be the only one with this problem, so either my Pro Tools is too weird, or I'm just too stupid (probably both). Any sugestions anyone? I'd be really greatful System info: Pro Tools M-Powered 7.3.1cs5. Re: Pre/Post Roll Issue, Playback cursor won\'t remain still
It sounds like you just have the dynamic transport feature activated. Try turning off the dynamic transport.
