Default Midi Quantizing in 6.4 le

How do I auto quantize in 16th notes? the quantize windows is too complicating with all those little subtitles. I just want to play and my notes automaticly quantize.

Select MIDI from top tab, Input Quantize/ Enable input quantize/ select 16th note value if it's not selected. That should do it. Peace

I'd like to know the best way to record 12 bar shuffle via midi in 6.4 LE.
Logic was so much easier quantizing events.... why does Digidesign
make this so confusing ?
The notion of input quantizing isn't too appealing because what does it do to note events
that happen in a creative random way ?..., sometimes you'd just like to leave that alone while
grabbing the stuff you want to fix at a later point in time. Everytime I try to quantize later, the 6.4
PT always has its own ideas where one is (regardless of notation selection)...What am I missing here ?

Digidesign came out with this really great intuitive audio editing system and now a multitrack system HD system with plug ins and all that great stuff...and oh...by the way they also have midi integrated too..yea right !
Why Digidesign didn't work out a deal with Logic or DP for their working Midi sequencing implimentations, I'll never understand.
Instead they chose to build their own really clunky midi sequencer inside Pro Tools. In Digi's defense..It does keep getting better with each upgrade but why do they make all of us, who have to make a living with their gear, have to suffer through something that could have been avoided from the very beginning ?

What? You mean you can not scrub? I wished that it had a better MIDI editor.
