Default HD drivers info

Hi,

It seems the HDX hardware is recognized by Protools even without the drivers installed,. So I'm wondering :
How do I know an HD Driver was installed on an OSX system ?
and if it was installed which version is currently on the system ?

Have you an idea where to look for these information…

Thanks

HD drivers are automatically installed with the Protools software. At least they used to be. I'm not sure how to know which version they are.

The drivers are there for other apps to use your Avid hardware, PT doesn't use them.

Their version SHOULD be in the "Get Info" box (command I) of the Avid Audio Diver app.
