USB limitations on Mbox? Recording keeps stopping

New here, just got MBOX yesterday.

Are there any limitations to using a USB HUB? I cant get PT to play or record much of anything before it prompts me to increase buffer (its maxed out already).

Did i make a mistake buying the MBOX and should have bought the 001?

Mbox should be connected directly to the computer's usb port. Also, check that your energy settings are set to Highest in System Preferences. If this doesn't help, check out the OSX/PTLE6.x troubleshooting guide thread http://duc.digidesign.com/showflat.p...fpart=1#313423

And make shure you don't have any compatibility issues.
