Default Lock Audio Regions to Bars/beats!!!!

Hey what gives?
PTs does not give the option to lock the audio regions to Bars and Beats.
This really becomes a problem when you are using drums hits and stuff cut up in a track, and you need to change the tempo.
my suggestion would be to either:
a: make a preference to lock audio regions to either SMPTE position, or to Bars/beats.
or B: Have a locking tool to lock regions to Bars/beats.

This is a MAJOR disadvantage when 'programming' in PT. Please Digi...sort this one out!

Ramesh.

Hey mesh!

YES YES YES!! Need this one very much. (This is the ONLY way Logic works, which can also be a PITA when you need regions to NOT lock)

It'd be great to have a lock for each region--just put a 'lock' and 'unlock' icon in the top bit of the edit window, so you can cmd-A then click 'lock' and you'd be sorted.

? Logic lets you lock/unlock regions to SMPTE on an individual basis.

I was talking about Logic (Audio Platinum).
Yes, it´s no problem there - just select all the regions you want and select "lock/unlock regions to SMPTE" from the Arrange window submenu (AFAIR "object").
