Default Sony AIT 2 Turbo

Hey Mt Everest or anybody else wondering about the future of AIT,
I just installed a FW Sony AITe200UL. So far so good. It would not run on Retrospect 5... so I had to move up to 6. Right now I'm transfering at 650 MB/min. It's really smokin' compared to my old LaCie. I haven't had any issues with Mac compatibility or driver wierdness. Worked right out of the box.
Also have to give some air time to Retrospect and their customer service. It took less than 5 minutes to get the upgrade done over the phone. They emailed me a download link and my new licence #. The guy I spoke to was knowledgable and nice... rare these days.
Anyway... it works.

Hello Mt.
No Retro software.
The transfer rate was moving around some... but once it got rolling it was hanging between 550 and 650. It actually got above 650 after I posted. Nice and speedy. It might be even faster on a newer Mac.
I think you can call Dantz and buy Retrospect direct. It worked for an upgrade from 5 to 6 anyway. Just gave the dude a credit card number, waited a few minutes for an email, downloaded and installed.
