Ok. Thanks Scotsman. In other words, there is no way to use the 192 to input synths and MIDI gear...? (and take advantage of the higher quality A/D converters like the ones in the 192)?

The 192 actually use Dsub 25s, so a patch bay or convertor cable would be required for line level inputs. I have my 192 connected to the pre-amps in my Control 24 and Focusrite 428. So I can plug synths etc into 192 via these pre-amps. Never though about putting them in directly but suppose you could. Just out of curiosity... Does anyone know whether Digi makes snakes/connectors for the 192 that has TRS (1/4 inch) connectors at the other end? (instead of XLR)?

Yea I'm almost sure they do but, I would go with Mogami but I hear the Digi ones is kool! It's just that I'm becoming a recording geek!!
