Pro Tools First PXF PlugIn Error Message

So PTF has been working just fine up until about a week ago when I tried launching it and was met with this error:

"could not create a new document because pxf plugin is not installed."

I haven't installed anything from an external source, so no third-party plugins. Also, I've tried the thing where you move the plug-ins into another file, launch PTF, then close it and then move the plug-ins back.
It's weird because PTF was working just fine one night and then the following morning it simply began displaying the error message. I can't open my projects or even create a new one.
