Default Can PT tempo track sync to external source?
Hi , I'm running 2computers, 1 is cubase, 1 is pro tools hd. I'm running them at the same time. I'm doing midi in Cubase thus the tempo track is in cubase. Can pro tools's tempo track record tempo due to external source? So the 2 daw's tempo track can be the same.

Default Can PT tempo track sync to external source?
Try exporting a blank midi track from Cubase & include the tempo map in that. Then import to PT include tempo map as you do so.

Yes I can do that. however as I'm always changing tempo inside Cubase, it would be a lot of work to do to sync pro tools & cubase. Is there a way pt can record tempo midi from cubase?

Well I guess there's always midi beatclock. Or maybe look into the Satellite feature. The user manual should have the info.

Satellite is between two or more PT systems, is it not?

Rockman. Why don't you make PT the master & spit MBC out to Cubase?

Apparently the stuff is composed in Cubase and mixed in PT?

Yes, I'm composing in Cubase and mix in PT.

So I guess that there's no way for a Realtime Tempo sync from Cubase to PT? The only is export midi, copy that midi, import that midi.. I have to do such actions everytime I change a speed in PT while I'm working.
