When I try to use Mini Grand, it crashes PT and locks up the computer

So clean install of 10.3.3 with Virtual instruments 10.3 (Win7, 8gb ram, everything else PT related works perfectly). I can LOAD Mini Grand, but the second I try to input notes on the midi controller, or in the interface, or play back previously written things, it locks up the whole system.

Before I upgraded to 10, Mini grand worked find in PT8

I've seen some Mac solutions that involved changing the system language, but mine is already set to English.

These problems can be cause of major hair pulling, no doubt. Without knowing much about your set up, it is possible that some necessary file or other didn't install correctly. Have you tried to uninstall Mini Grand and reinstall it? I've had it happen where doing that made everything work fine.

Beyond that, I'm not sure I have any ideas.

Worked. 2 uninstalls, 2 reinstalls and it worked.

Still will never understand why it takes installing and uninstalling twice makes the third one really take.
