Default No sound after recording session? Fast track ultra 8r

hey, im using;

Windows7 64bit, toshiba laptop, intel i7.

Fast Track Ultra 8r, axiom 49, m-powered ptools.

yesterday everything ran smooth, recorded drumming session, 7mics-tracks, could hear it all fine through headphones in the fast tracks headphone 1 output.

today, no sound on playback, transport timer is moving, the tracks are reading levels, but all im getting out of headphones is static.
opened a new session, instrument track for the axiom, inputs registering but no sound, still static..

new to pro tools so im kinda stuck, help would be much appreciated.
