Default HD owners!! R U HAPPY with the mixes @ 44.1 now?

Can anyone tell me who has a HD and has used the old mix systems if
1) It is easier to get separation of instruments.

2) The stereo field seems wider.

So in summary can we bypass this separate outputs into an SSL desk mixing strategy once and for all????

I need to justify the upgrade..
