Default PT8 Mix window / Track comments bug ?

When I try to write into the comments area at the bottom of tracks in the Mix window (narrow view) the background color turns to white and I cannot see what it's already written and/or what I am actually writing. Am I the only one ? Thank you

As a work around (for those that don't know), you can use the name track dialog and type it there.

Was there ever a permanent fix for this? The problem just started for me this evening.

It also appears that the first time this bug happens in an open session, the spacebar play functionality stops working until I close PTLE, relaunch and open the session.
