Default poor sound quality after bounce

hello
i have win 11 Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-8130U CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.21 GHz
laptop with pro tools intro running umc22 interface ms40 speakers
the whole setup works excellent apart from when i send to bounce and then playback from audio file in my laptops music, the audio has no tone to it and sounds similar to playing through laptop speakers the sound in the daw is excellent through the daw and out to the speakers it appears to process the tracks incorrect loosing quality even sending the completed audio file out of the laptop to another device the sound quality is the same poor
i have tried io settings etc but im at a loss i assume something is corrupting the audio maybe not following the correct path during processing
any help and thoughts with this would be great thank you ian

See the "help us help you" tab at top of forum. Try bouncing a session with NO plugs. Especially NO plugs on master fader. How are you playing back? Is there some eq or processing going on in the app used for playback?

^^^

And pay lots of attention to what source you are bouncing from (in the dialog panel). Many of these problems are caused by bouncing something different than what you are listening to.

What happens if you re-import into Pro Tools ? That can be a clue to the cause.
