Nada!! my friend! I think Digi should offer a similar option themselves for this for people that are running HD3s PCI, so we can move to PCIe.. without splashing out lots of $$$ for something that may as well be soon replaced. I am not too sure it will fit inside the Mac Pro though but I haven't managed to look at the site as it doesn't load..

Re: PCIe to PCIx adaptor
I think someone needs to order that and test it and post some detailed results. It would be great if we could get a couple people to throw in like $10-15 each and send it to someone so they can buy it and test it so that no one person has to waste their money if it doesn't work. I'd be willing to volunteer for that of course but I'm also willing to contribute some cash to a pot if we can agree on someone else to conduct the testing. I know there are a lot of us that would like to upgrade from a G5 so it would be great if this worked. What do you guys think?

Re: PCIe to PCIx adaptor
I'm willing to chip in for $10 towards it just for a detailed review on the DUC... seems like it would be money well spent!!

Re: PCIe to PCIx adaptor
Dosen't this make cards that much higher that they will not fit into the computer + they could not be screwed down as well leaving them hanging just by the adaptor card... I think there was a thread about this company's pci to pcie boxes with negative results btw.

Re: PCIe to PCIx adaptor
I read somewhere recently that the card still fit in the case and cleared by a half inch. Wish I could remember where I read that....

Re: PCIe to PCIx adaptor
Ok, I have ordered 2 of these to try, they will take a little while to get to Australia but when they get here I will report back to see if they work in the Mac Pro That I will try with an hd system. Any donations gladly received, I am doing this myself out of work time. Email me at simon at trackdown dot com dot au if you want to contribute
