Hows the macbook??

Thinking about getting the black macbook - not the pro. 2gig of ram and run my 002 with it.
Is it worthwhile spending the extra money to get a pro?
I dont record bands. Ill be just doing audio dumps one track at a time and then mix. Also, Ill need tight midi recording for my synths. Got a dual 1.25 G4 and its time for a upgrade.
