What Midi Sequencer are you using?
Basic Midi sequencing alows you to assign all sixteen midi tracks to play from the same MIDI Channel. If you create sixteen midi tracks and assign one drum sound to each and then assign them all to play back on the same channel (i.e: Midi ch-10) you will have a sixteen track Midi sequence with individual drum sounds (i.e: kick, snare HH, ride, crash, Low tom, High tom, ect, ect, ect)
on each track.

The the DM pro works is differnt than most multi synth units. The DMpro allows use of all MIDI channels but you assign the MIDI
channels to each drum group within each drum set. For example: Drum set #1 Kicks channel 1
Snares channel #2 and so on. This is done from the drum kit setup, also where you set up the sounds. On other synths, you would
assig a full drum kit to each MIDI channel.
So with the DM pro its takes a minute to set all the instruments to the desired MIDI channels with the drum set.
