Alt output for headphones on an MBox Mini

Hi there,

Currently my band is using sequenced synth sounds from Pro Tools, we send all the synth sounds to out1/2 and through our PA. The click we send to out3/4, we then choose the "alt source" option for headphone out 2 (I have a 003R) and plug the drummer's headphones into that 2nd HP out.

My question is: Can I get an equivalent thing set up with an MBox mini? If not, what about the standard MBox2? Do they have an "alt source" option for the headphone out?

I'd like to cut down on the gear I'm taking to rehearsals ands gigs, not having to drag my 003R and the other stuff in the rack around would be good.

I'm afraid not. I believe that the only other outputs (SPDIF on Mbox2) are just a mirror of analogue 1&2.

Yeah on closer inspection of the various MBoxes, it looks like only the pro has a headphone out that has a "3/4" switch allowing you to send a different mix (in my case just a click) to the headphones than what is going out to your monitors. With having a 003R already, I don't really want to pay for an MBox2 Pro just to get that feature in a smaller box.
Ah well...
