I'm brand new to Protools, have a Win XP Pro M-box 6.9 set-up. I am just trying to record some vocals. I got the mic working but there is no "Record Enable" button on any of the tracks I create. And until I can click the "Record Enable" button, than the program says "no tracks are record enable".

What can I do to straighten this out? by the way, there is no "Greyed out" Record Enable button, there is on "R" button at all.

Sounds like you're creating Aux tracks instead of Audio tracks...
