For Clarity, I've found Broad 1 best for mechanical / industrial sounds, Broad 1 HF best where it's sounds without much LF, and Broad 2 when competing with more human voices or random / musical sounds.
That seems to parallel my experiences. It doesnt so much as detect noise, but it detects voice using machine learning and removes everything else. It works really well too... in MOST situations.

Yep, leave it to me, I've already found a way in which to stump it. RX doesn't fare well either.

Default Re: Waves Clarity Vx noise reduction

Purchased Clarity VX Pro around Thanksgiving and am pleasantly surprised with how quickly it gets to the same level of reduction vs. my typical noodling in RX 10 Advanced. For me it feels like it works better if used first then brought into RX for spot cleanup vs. using Clarity after any processing in RX.

However, I'm finding a random issue while doing audio suite: occasionally on Broad 2 I will hear artificial hiss crescendoing to the end of the file. Doesn't happen on Broad 1 or HF. It's bizarre. I don't know if it's being caused by some intermittent RF hits on this lav clip or what, but it's odd.

Not entirely sure if Waves has a feedback portal or if anyone else has had similar happen?
