Gonk - all of mine was just gibberish. I think I may have opened it wrong but it was a boatload of symbols and letters.

FYI I tried to call Avid and use my support code on this so we could reach a faster solution and I could not get thru!

Can you guys try manually moving "AutoPan.aaxplugin" from your Plug-Ins folder to your unused folder, then launch PT11 and see if it still fails?

Thanks

Hey Andrew,
There is no autopan.aaxplugin in the plugin folder

...No wait, I was looking at Library > Application support > Avid > plug ins
but looked at show package contents on PT11 and I can now see it, no unused plugins folder though.

OK removed AutoPan.aaxxplugin and still the same error comes up when launching PT11.

I am in contact with Avid and will post as I learn. The good news is that we are in the queue to get rolling. I promised my bride I would take her out, so in an hour we will continue working. I sent the file Andrew asked about to Avid. The "gibberish" is code that they can decode there.

Try renaming /Library/Application Support/Avid to "Avid2" or something, and launch PT11 again. Let me know if that works. Keep around your original folder because we will need it to figure out the culprit if this works. This is just for testing.
