Default Re: AAX upgrades for LE plugins

Hey nst7,

Well as you said multiple instances but even though they are meant to be the same code I sometimes run my SG into the DI on the ISA one (with Digital card) into the spdif of the RME FF400, this allows me to "drive" the PI more than I am able to on the Eleven rack which gives the sound more body (no pun) and clarity, not always desired but a useful tool.

The difference could be down to impedance, variable input gain, pre-amp and conversion but more likely all of the above.
I've tried doing it via spdif into the Eleven rack but it doesn't have the same effect.

Also there's the add your Effect of choice, inserted before the Eleven PI to get whatever sound you're after where as your limited to the ones in the rack before the amp if using the rack version.

Actually, you can use any FX you want before the rack. I use an Aux for this. You set the rack to work in Re-Amp mode. Set up an aux from the Input (Guitar), put FX on the Aux you want, the set the output to Reamp. Then record the Rig on an audio track. And a clean "Un amped" version if you want to as well.
