Yeah, what he said; Remove the expired plugins.

Some can be removed from the "Add or Remove Programs" dialog.

Some of the demos are installed with the Pro Tools installer (not by default, so you must have actively selected them on install), so you will actually need to select Digidesign Pro Tools from the dialog and click "change", then select "Modify" and un-check the plugins/applications you are trying to remove.

Which plugins exactly?

I had this problem with some plug ins. They weren't in my plug ins folder but in a shared folder somewhere. Do a search on your c drive for "dfx", "toolkit" and "translator". Make sure they are the right ones and delete them.

Go to Mac HD/Library/App Support/Digidesign/Plug-ins and remove the Demo plugins to the trash.

Although the removal of the DigiTranslator is the same for both platforms, It is in a different location than the removal of plug-ins.

DV Toolkit and Digitranslator can be removed from Mac OSX by removing the OMF.dll file and the timecode.dll from inside the Pro Tools folder located at MacHD>Applications>Digidesign>Pro Tools.

To remove demo plug-ins and demo software, see the last item in the "General Troubleshooting - Pro Tools 6 & 7 Win XP" topic at the top of the forum, which is also now linked from the Answerbase home page:

I'm not sure but I think you can go to your C drive Program Files - Common Files - DigiDesign - DAE - Plug Ins and get ride of the appropriate .dpm and .rsr files.
