I have the focusrite tonefactory. Everything on this box is nice...

And i got it cheap. Secondhand for EU 260

(Oh....it does not have an A/D-converter, and there is no option to add one...)

I have been using a rack of (8) Focusrite Trakmasters for my drum kit. The results are very good. It is nice to have a complete channel strip w/dynamics (comp & eq) in one rack space. The quality is certainly a step up from a decent console.

I prefer the all-white-meat stips. Golden and crispy, with a little BBQ sauce.

yum.
