OT: Value of a vintage microphone...

Hello All:

Long time lurker here to post on OT question regarding a neumann microphone.

I have the opprotunity to purchase a Neumann SM 2. It is in excellent condition. I am wondering if any of you have an idea of what this mic is worth or if there is any website or dealer you can point me towards.

I've done some google searches but came up empty handed. If anyone has any idea of the value or where I can find out, it be much appreciated.

"It is in excellent condition" ..have you seen/heard it ?
It's a very old (AFAIK..the very first manufactured) Stereo tube microphone. Power supply and cabling could be very expensive to repair/replace.
In "great" working order..I'd estimate around the 3K US$ range.
