Scribble strips...
Hi folks,
This is probably a feature request...or perhaps is already available and I'm ignorant: Can the track scribble strips be set to display current REGION name...instead of track name? Thanks! j |

Re: Scribble strips...
No. But can you explain why you would want that ? When I think about what the effect of that would be during playback in a dense edited session I can't reaaly see the benefit but maybe I'm missing something so ....

Re: Scribble strips...
Sometimes my eyes zero in on region names alot quicker than track names when looking at the monitor.
It's a little thing, but when you're looking at 60+ mono fx tracks (for example. And I know, there are plenty of ways to reduce visable tracks) and your playhead is far screen right..it can be a bit of a bother to spot the region you wanna juice, then track your eyes back to the other end of the screen, think you have the right track and then grab the wrong fader... hmm...tho in 7.3 don't region highlights select tracks? Meaning, that while I'm rolling, I can select a region and the track becomes focused (selected). If thats the case, it makes it a little easier...aside from adding that step to ensure accuracy. Thoughts? Crazy? I'd imagine the naming convention for regions would be truncated to accomodate... |
