Default Runtime error in pt 7.1

Hi.
I've just bought my digi 002 and I've installed pt 7.1.
I noticed that my sound card is working by other audio programs like sound forge and nuendo.
When I launch the pt 7.1, appears a message saying:
"this application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

please, help me!!!!

thanks.
