Default ST decapitator..how does work for in pt9?????

Hi guys was wondering how soundtoys decap works for others. I've got seven instances running at about 30% rtas. It takes about 30 seconds to load and looks like its about to crash on each initialization . When adjusting plugin parameters there's a lag time of about 5 seconds. Kinda annoying! I know these plugs are cpu intensive but Im wondering if this is common in the PT9/WIN7 or if I'm still having issues. Id love to hear how they are working for others.........oh yeah and no mouse wheel scrolling.
Also I have engine set to 7 processors/95% w 512 buffer.thanks guys!

that seems about correct. it is a pretty intensive program cpu wise. mine does the same thing where it seems like its hanging before it launches. other ST plugs do that to. i have never tried to run that many instances of it, but even with a couple it is terribly noticeable.

I spoke with Soundtoys tech support and the lag when inserting is a known bug that should be fixed in the next version.

thanks Dave, that's good to know!

Now are the mouse wheel scroll functions the same in PT9 with the ST plugz?
My scrol works in windows and other programs but not wit hthe plugz and PT...
like i mentioned earlier, not sure what options are available for scroll wheel functions in protools as im 100% new to it(long time Nuendo user).

So maybe one or two of the 80+ who have read this thread would like to chime in?????
thanks guys and gals!

Scroll Wheel Windows Pro Tools:

Alt + Scroll Wheel = Zoom in and out horizontally

Alt + Shift + Scroll Wheel = Increase or decrease waveform height

Shift + Scroll Wheel = Moves horizontally up and down the timeline

Cheers,
