Default Vertical Zoom Question

Hi, is it possible in Pro Tools to zoom vertically from the Avid Artist Control without the need to select a clip on the track I wish to zoom? If not, how can I select a clip from the Artist Control? What is the expected behavior for zooming vertically? As of now, using the mouse I have to select a clip on the track I want to zoom in on before the controller will zoom.

Make a softkey that is ctl - alt or opt - up/down arrow. The method depends on Win or Mac PT.

I can’t post the video I just shot of me using that key command. It basically toggles my PT window from full screen to half screen

sounds like your operating system is using the same shortcut for toggling your views. are you on windows? try to turn off that shortcut in your operating systemsettings.
what do you wanna do in the end? zoom the waveforms/midiregions or adjust the track heights?

Hi studiosus, I think it’s definitely used by the system & I’m on Mac OS X Mavericks. I searched keyboard shortcuts, which is located in system preferences, and couldn’t find that command there. So now I’m going to do a search on the inter web and see what I can find.
Thanks for chiming in!
