Default Noise blasts at end of recorded bits - help please

I've been having this problem where each recorded segment comes with a pop at the end (with a similar tone to the instrument/voice being recorded). I'm running PTLE 6.4 - here's my setup:
Dell Dimension (Intel P4 1.8)
640M of RAM
MBox
Acom Data 120G external

A friend of mine told me he thought he saw a bug patch fix for this a while back, but I can't seem to find anything for it. Any and all help is much appreciated!

I'm pretty sure that PTLE 6.7 fixed that problem.

Have you tried to put a fade (very short) at the end of the region?

That's extremely tedious when there are a lot of snippets involved and it doesn't really tackle the root of the problem. Sounds like I'll have to get 6.7 Thanks for the help. If anyone has any other links/ideas about a patch, let me know.

I'm getting that same problem in PT 7 on an MBox 2. It never happened to me on PT 6.4 and the Digi 001.

Hmmmm... Now, you've got me thinking that upgrading won't solve the problem.

It seems to be sporatic though. All the voice I recorded today didn't have the pop at the end, but yesterday it did. Go figure.

As for the upgrade, having all the new features in PT 7 made it well worth it. Not to mention the hugely discounted plug-ins with the plus package.

I finally upgraded and have 7.1, but I'm still getting those damn noise blasts at the end of recorded snippets! Was that bug really fixed with the newer versions?
