External clock source invalid
I wonder if anyone might have any suggestions... been using protools 6.2.2 with few problems over the last 2.5 years. I transfer gig and field recordings digitally from DAT without hindrance from protools. Today however, it would not allow me to change the clock source from internal to S/PDIF - a dialogue box surfaced sayng "External clock source invalid. Reverting to internal." The I/O settings are as they should be, sample rate set to 48khz for DAT, SP/DIF L, S/PDIF R selected on the mixer, cables all checked, but no levels appearing, and so no chance of recording digitally....
