Default MTC lag??

So when I use MTC to place Logic Pro X to Pro Tools I notice a lag. especially if I am working on drum stuff where it is some obvious. Noticed If you make sure the buffer sizes match that it works a little better but even if the first kick drum hit is on it seems to lag buy the 3rd.

Any suggestion on how to stop this. I tried sending the audio from logic into ProTools using aggregate device. And It just made the delay way worse so forget that idea lol

- Sample rates all 44.1
- I tried all buffer sizes (the same for LPX and PT)
- TC rates both 25

-I am using a Universal Audio Apollo twin Duo as my interface
Its sample rate is 44.1 as well

SMPTE and MTC were never sample locked. Ever. At least not in the 30 years that I've been paying attention. I actually think it's better for timing to render the tracks in Logic and then import the audio into Pro Tools to mix. If you need the audio from Pro Tools to program, then Bounce it and use that audio file in Logic.
