upgrading from 7.1 to 7.3

a new pluging i purchaced (impOscar) is quite buggy in 7.1. i wrote their tech support and they said its only tested on 7.3, so i went to download the update, but apparently i cant update to 7.3.2 unless i've already got 7.3 installed. but i dont see where to download the update from 7.1 to 7.3. surely i dont need to purchace this?!? i paid for 7.1 what, a year ago?

so where/how can i download this update? sorry if it's obvious but i've been digging around in the protools site for a while with no luck so far...

Only the messenger here... I believe it is a pay upgrade... was $49.00, not sure what it would be now.

ok, messenger - i'll spare your life, but deliver this back to your masters: it's too much, too soon! give us a break! i got 7.1 in frikkin 2006 ffs. i've been supporting digidesign since i bought my first sample cell card in 19freakin94, and i've always been a fan. but this is highway robbery. highway robbery, you hear!

ps. i'd pay maybe $20 without so much complaining, but you should really only be forced to pay for an upgrade every 3 years or so - even microsoft gives us that long, it's sorta industry standard.
