Default Tape and other \"analog\" saturation plug-ins

I was just wondering if there are any other analog saturation plugs for Windows systems running PT LE 6.1 (besides Tube)? I have Antares Tube . . . and well, it's ok . . . kind of "tubey," but somewhat not. I also use the RenComp set to "warm" - it's sublte and that's about it.

Why aren't there plugs like the DUY and McDSP ones for Windows PT LE systems?

Thanks,

rockrev

Thats a good point! We have raised it from time to time and have gotten plausible answers from both DUY and McDSP - look them up with a search...

In my view the moast Tube-like plugincompressors are CompressorX (Timeworks) and Fairchild660 (Bf). One very good solution is to use C4 (Waves) on individual tracks and that is a good Digital-solution.

Insted of AntaresTube I tend to use a setting on Tel-Ray on voicetracks to get a Tubie-feeling.

...but don´t forget your "mission", join us and become another of us guys writing DUY from time to time and ask them "what´s up"...

Well, sign me up. I just sent an email to both McDSP and DUY. Man, I'd really love to have DUY Valve and Tape!

Well, I have sent a petition to every company making a Mac only RTAS and here is what they have to say: http://duc.digidesign.com/showflat.p...=&fpart=1&vc=1
