Intel Core 2 Duo...Mbox 2 doesn't work

I just got the New Macbook Pro..

Machine Name: Mac
Machine Model: MacBookPro2,2
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.33 GHz

I plugged in the Mbox 2 and nothing happened. ie the lights didn't turn on. The computer can see it in system profiler but I cannot connect.. whats up? .. I know that Core 2 compatibility is in progress but others have reported success with the Digi 002 ..
ANyone have any answers?

Unfortunately I don't have an answer for your problem... I can say however that I also just bought a new Macbook Pro, and Pro Tools works fine - with my 002 rack.

Works fine here. I used to have this problem with my old Powerbook sometimes. Usually, restarting the computer fixed the problem.

You sure you have the new Macbook Pro Intel Core 2 duo ... restarting doesn't work ...

I screwed up .... used migration assistant .. just had to reinstall protools .....newbie I am
