Default PT9 consistent crashes @ startup

PT v9.06:

It seems to be crashing just as it loads the "XPAND" instrument. It stalls out on the loading screen for a second, then quits unexpectedly. Happens around 5 times out of 10. Any ideas as to whats causing? Or should I just delete this XPAND plugin entirely

If you see it saying loading xpand it likely the item after xpand that causing the problem

Just check the console logs which should indicate the potential source of the issue

I have noticed the EXACT same issue with my system. Either XPAND or as the other post states "what comes after it" is crashing the system.

I have to do a system reboot in order to fully launch pro tools.
