Default Mixed Logic Control Surface

Anyone seen the new Mixed Logic Control Surface (claims to be shipping) mixed logic's web site

Has some need features, but it's not clear on it's protool compatibility, and how the street pricing + features versus the C24.

It's awesome! Main unit is $1299, and expander unit is $1199... or something. I saw it at NAMM today, and it runs just as efficiently, if not more so, than ProControl. Even though it's MIDI, it runs just as fast as ethernet. The coolest thing is that adjusting plug-in parameters is much slicker on LogicControl than on PC. The parameters (like on C24) spread out over the amount of faders you have... but because LogicControl is much more expandable than both Digi units, you can have parameters spread out over 64 faders!!! You're only limited to the amount of MIDI ports you have connected to your computer, so on one MIDI interface, you can have 8 units attached... And you can keep adding more... You can also have additional Main Units that make up separate control surfaces on the same system... So you can have 16 faders that always monitor busses and outputs, and then another 32 faders that dynamically bank to whatever is on your arrange page... In usual Emagic fashion, you have so many optional ways of setting up your control surface.

Sorry for the rant, but it's a great unit.

Kenn, are you describing the M24 from Mixedlogic that you saw at the NAMM show?

From what I can tell based on their web page (the that I posted above), the MSRP is $3999

Whoops... my bad! Sorry guys. I was talking about Emagic's control surface for Logic Audio. Same name as the Mixed surface. Sorry for the confusion.

Only for Logic users. It's developed so specifically for Logic software, but it works great if you're using Logic as a front-end for your TDM or 001 hardware. Their Logic5 just overhauled the whole automation engine, which the LogicControl is linked to. They got everything right... all the way down to complete support for sample accurate TDM plugin automation and parameter access to LogicControl. I still have my ProControl (I was trying to sell a little while ago), but I only use LogicControl now (I'm a betatester). I'm very happy with it. Emagic did a great job... I remember when they were trying to let Digi let them write a profile for ProControl for Logic, but Digi said no... so...
