Default control 24 - fader always in T mode

Hi guys,
i hope someone can help me.
I've had the flashing scribble problem on 4 channels, so yesterday i opened my control 24 and did the molex cleaning.
The scribble in 2 channels is still flashing but less and touching the front panel it became stable, the other 2 are just fine, But now i'm encountering a serious problem.
All faders do not move or respond!
After many hours of testing i've noticed that (in test mode) they always show the "T" as if they were always touched by me!!!
In Vegas mode the displays shows value change but they do not move.
Faders powering is fine, when i turn the control 24 off they make a slight movement, so faders work!
I did all possible cleaning and moved/checked all fader connections and everything seems in order!
Any idea?
Thanks in advance!
Mancio

Hi,

Most likely you put a wrong molex connector back! on the wrong socket etc.

that seems the obvious cause if no power is getting to the faders board. there are some fuses on the PSU so check them incase.

Hi Chris!
Thanks for the reply!
I did check everything in a very detailed way, molex connection are ok, power is reaching the fader power board.
I've had a conversation with the facility who repairs digidesign controls 24 in Italy, being mine a revision F they suggested me to send it to them for power supply check and eventualy change! So i did!
Now i'm waiting for it to come back, i've posticipated all my clients for two weeks, that's a bit embarassing but i had to do that, i do not want to show an empty desk with a mouse and keyboard, especially with new clients!
Moreover i have to pay from 450 to 650 euro, not bad...
