The ad on the home page says "Limited time." So are these actually just limited time demos that expire towards the end of March?

No, I think you just have a limited time to take advantage of the free offer.

Marvellous! I take back all I may (or may not) have said about Digi - what a fine bunch they are!!
Seriously though, there have been so many requests for expansion packs for Strike, so it's good to see that Digi have at last obliged.
Now then, enough gushing, better go and try 'em out....

Agreed. I already thought Pro Tools and Strike were great tools, and now they're even better. I personally haven't tried Hybrid, but the additions make it more attractive.

It says:

"If you own Strike, Digidesign is offering Strike Content Expansion as a free download starting January 22 through March 22, 2008 only. After this date, the add-on will be available for purchase from the DigiStore."

As it seems you can already download it? Do you need any authorizations for the upgrades if you already have the old plugs?
