PT Launch error after OS re-install...

Well, I thought I was doing a good thing fixing some OS issues with a new install of 10.3 and updates to where I was previously, 10.3.5. No PTLE issues prior, but after reinstalling the OS this is the error I get.

The application "Pro Tools" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "1<ProTools_LE_OSX_Rel><ProTools_LE_OSX_Rel><DAE>< >"

Should I just re-install PTLE and re update it to 6.4, or is there something I can trash that will fix the problem... Already repaired permissions... Twice.

Any help is much apreciated!

first try trashing your preferences and cache file in Library.

I'm just digging into reinstalling "everything" (OS, PT, cs updates, WAVES, etc., etc.,)

it's a love/hate relationship with this program, i tell you....

my error did not go away after "a few" reinstalls from everything from PT and cs updates, to "archive and install" OS loads...

I recently wrote zero's to disk on my start-up, and reinstalled OS X.3 just last nite...

I'm gonna clean this damned thing out if it kills me... or my computer... or if my computer kills me... whichever comes first.
