Bypassing C|24
I'm using a 002R and a Presonus Digimax for 1-8 and 9 - 16 respectively. Since the 002R gets 9-16 through the optical, am I gaining anything at all by splitting my inputs between the C|24 (9-16) and the Presonus?
Isn't the 002R/PTLE what actually determines the assignment of tracks to the C|24? not the otherway around? I am about to reposition my equipment which will mean disconnecting and re-routing cables. If I don't really need the Y-cords I might as well eliminate them. Thanks Stainless
