Upgrading to pro tools studio from edu prepetual license
Hi, I have an educational perpetual license to pro rools standard I purchased around a year ago.
I had my auto renewal on for the upgrade plan but It said in order to upgrade to pro tools studio I need to reauthorize my academic eligibility. Can't I just pay something and stay on a perpetual license with an upgrade plan? I have been trying to contact avid for two weeks now and its like there is no customer service. They say they have a chat but its always offline, or the website takes me to talk with a bot which is worse. I have submitted a question and no answer until now. I don't know what to do |

Re: Upgrading to pro tools studio from edu prepetual license
Does the attached image clarify your question?
Are you still a student? If not you must start paying for the standard Studio price, I think, not as an "upgrade". I've never heard of a "get a discount for once being a student" plan, but I went to school in 2010. Am I not understanding your notion about why it seems you are being offered a Studio plan asking for educational eligibility confirmation? That license needs eligibility to "upgrade" its version. I think.... You just go to the store and buy a new subscription or license. Sent from my Pixel 6 Pro using Tapatalk
